We had a such wonderful stay for a good visit.
Big size and beautifully designed rooms with updated furnishings and the most basic decor plus clean bathroom, loved it. The location was great in a beautiful area, just next door to Miami Beach and Casa Faena and Faena. There was an in-house restaurant nearby.

Repeated issues with hot water spoiled the experience, leaving us with cold showers on two separate nights. Attempts to address the problem were met with vague responses and no real solutions. Customer service fell short, as promised follow-ups from management never materialized. The homemade jams were a good addition to breakfast.

The stay here was amazing, loved the hotel, it was clean with marvellous and beautiful location not far from Miami beach area, Faena and beach, and restaurants. The private parking was on the side street, first-rate service. The staff was extremely friendly and really friendly, so I would love to return.

Excellent location with beach access directly across the street; Helpful front desk staff, quiet hotel and very comfortable beds. Great value for the money.
The restaurant staff was rude and not very accommodating; would have been nice to have a pool, however, we knew before we booked that there wasn't one. The addition of one, if possible, would be a major bonus for the hotel. We were notified that we would receive a free continental breakfast, which typically includes items such as muffins, pastries, juices, cereals, etc. However, we were only offered a basket of white toast, a danish, and some ice water and coffee. We were a little disappointed with our offerings, and therefore, had to unexpectedly spend money out-of-pocket for a more appealing breakfast.

Only that it was a lovely old building and we were grateful that our room was clean.
The reception was surly and unhelpful, so were th breakfast staff. There was no help with our bags; we had to trundle them up to the 2nd floor ourselves and we're 60yrs old. The continental breakfast turned out to be a basket of bread and stale cake; we ended up going out for breakfast at extra cost. The location of the hotel is 21 blocks away from the start of South Beach!

Birthday Dinner Gone Wrong
So we went to this restaurant for my wife's birthday. The vibe is cute and all, but the service was a total mess. Our server was the only one working, and every drink we ordered was unavailable! Then the power went out, and we sat in the dark without a clue! Paying was a hassle too, they only took cash or required us to write our card info down!

Nice staff, cute hotel, close to beach.
Very small room, not enough towels. Too far from the city centre. Expensive parking.

The historical aspects of the decor.
The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. It took 20 minutes for us to get pastries and dry toast. The coffee was cold and there was no creamer, only milk. I've had better continental breakfasts at budget hotels.

The cozy interior made my anniversary special, but the room smelled like mold.

They overbooked so the room that I booked was not available. Which would have not been a problem if they would have told me when I checked in; however the clerk checked me in and did not inform me that all they had available was a single room. When they moved me the next day they put me in a room that had moisture in the air so the room had a constant mildew smell.

The concierge and the architecture.
The bar shut too early and the hot tub was not hot!
